Jacqueline S. Horton-Scott was called into the Family of God on June 6, 1978, and into His ministry on March 29, 1979. Her journey began as a student, where she learned the vital importance of studying and applying God’s Word. As a teacher, Jacqueline gained a deep understanding of sound, context-driven teachings while recognizing the dangers of misinterpreting Scripture. Her calling as a preacher was shaped by her deep commitment to listening to God’s voice and discerning His will for her life.
Jacqueline firmly believes that certain aspects of life cannot be assumed or forced; one must clearly know the leading of the Holy Spirit, which comes only through spending intentional time in God’s presence—through prayer and the Word. She emphasizes the importance of spending time in the “secret place,” as described in Psalm 91, and believes that it is through these moments of intimacy that God reveals our true calling.
Her greatest achievement has been surrendering worldly titles and fully submitting to God’s will. While she was not called to evangelize through preaching, Jacqueline has embraced her mission to evangelize through writing and teaching. This work has become her life’s purpose. Jacqueline’s mission aligns with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19—spreading the gospel and making disciples of all nations. Through her writing, she aims to help others strengthen their faith, draw closer to God, and walk confidently in His plan for their lives.
